Chudfridge is a community initiative that aims to redistribute food waste in the local area. As a Community Fridge, it actively redistributes food waste, successfully preventing an average of 4 tonnes of CO2 emissions each month. Chudfridge is open 24 hours a day, allowing community members to access free food at any time of the day. The group holds occasional informative events to raise awareness about food waste and sustainability, while keeping supporters updated with regular reports. They are continually seeking new sources of waste food, recruiting volunteers, and exploring funding opportunities.
