Helen Vines – CAG Devon Project Manager
Helen has worked for 25 years, supporting community groups to tackle social, local economic and environmental priorities in their localities, as a community development worker and social enterprise business advisor. She has a BA in Geography, and Community and Youth Studies, and an Msc in Landscape Ecology, Design and Management. Her best summer ever was volunteering at Cape Cod National Seashore!
Helping organisations to measure the difference they make, aka their ‘social impact’, Helen worked in the UK and also with the British Council Social Enterprise team in Turkey, Malta, Greece and India. She is constantly inspired by the passion and values of the organisations she gets to work with, who seek to make the world a better place at a local or global level.
Helen (with her VINESWORKS hat on) is also an associate trainer for NCVO and School for Social Entrepreneurs.
Charlie Eddisford – CAG Devon Project Director
Charlotte is Resource Futures’ Community Impact Lead. An experienced leader with a deep understanding of community impact in public, not for profit, and charity sectors, Charlotte has a successful track record of building strong community networks and strategic partnerships.
Her commitment to community action is rooted in her firm belief that our communities hold the power and have the influence to effect real change for people and planet.
Charlotte has over 12 years experience working within local communities, developing community-led services. She is skilled in project set-up, building projects from the ground up, supporting people and groups to take action and make a difference in their communities. Establishing countless successful multi-year projects, Charlotte is a systems thinker, accomplished in innovative service design.
With a background in fundraising, business development, and contract management – and considerable experience of collaboration and partnership within local authority, not for profit and private settings – Charlotte is an effective communicator and team leader. She also has six years Directorship experience as both a Non-Executive board member and Executive Director.

Leah Nudds – CAG Devon Project Officer
Leah is part of the Community Impact team working as the Project Officer for CAG Devon. With a strong academic foundation in BSc Environmental and MSc Management Sustainable Development, Leah combines her passion for sustainability with practical experience in communications and project support. She assists in project coordination, event planning, resource dissemination and communications.
She has actively engaged in real-world scenarios, including collaborating on climate change communication and research, independent research on sustainable food consumption, exploring the influence of nature and built environments on human behaviour, and project management planning for sustainability. Prior to this role, Leah served as a research assistant for the JPI Solstice-funded CCC-CATAPULT project, where she demonstrated her project management skills, and knowledge of climate change communication, engaging young people.
Sarah Kersey – CAG Devon Project Coordinator
Sarah is a community development professional with over 24 years of experience. Having started volunteering the Trade Justice and Local Agenda 21 movements and Jubilee Debt Campaign following the completion of her International Relations and Development Studies degree, Sarah moved on to roles at the Council for Voluntary Services and set up and run a Worker Cooperative providing training and capacity building services for Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Sector.
Following this, Sarah developing a community waste and recycling project called ‘The Rubbish Diet’ across six London boroughs and managed an Environment Centre in Wales. She has been a trustee for local and national organisations, including on of Scotland’s largest grant making charity.
In her role Sarah supports and develops community groups, helping them to be more effective in running their projects and helping people to feel better connected, stronger in dealing with challenges and able to reduce their community’s impact on the planet. Her skillset includes:
