Becoming a CAG Devon Connector Member

What is CAG Devon?

The Community Action Groups (CAG) Devon network consists of grassroots community groups across Devon organising events and projects to take action on waste and sustainability, including repair cafes, food surplus, reducing single-use plastic, composting, tree planting and much more.

Established in 2016, and funded by Devon County Council, Devon Climate Emergency and Public Health, CAG Devon is a growing network of community sustainability groups. The model for CAG Devon is based on the now fully independent, CAG Oxfordshire, the largest local network of community sustainability groups in the UK, with over 100 affiliated groups.

CAG Connector membership

CAG Connector membership is a new strand of our free membership offer, designed specifically for organisations that are larger or more established than grassroots community groups. It aims to strengthen connections and collaboration between organisations and groups across Devon.

Membership is free and open to Devon-based organisations that are committed to environmental sustainability and climate action.

There are many benefits to the Connector membership including:

  • Connections: To a wide range of community groups working on waste reduction, climate change, nature and sustainability.
  • Publicity: Through CAG Devon’s communication channels to promote your relevant initiatives.
  • Access: Skillshare Events, Collaborate Sessions, and networking opportunities to enhance collaboration and innovation.
