The Planetary Lab is a science education charity connecting people with current research, industry and local action with a focus on global challenges, their local impacts and empowering people to make a positive difference. They are running a pilot hands-on science centre in Green Lanes Shopping Centre until 26th September 2026, then seeking a more permanent space in Barnstaple to create Devon’s fist hands-on science centre. In parallel they run science engagement programmes across the South West.
