Dawlish against Plastic – Turn the Tide eco-festival

Thursday, 2 June @ 10:00 am - 10:00 pm

Turn the Tide – Stalls, key speakers, bands, entertainers and films are booked. See our Facebook page for programme updates.
When?   Thursday 2nd June 2022, the first day of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, from 10:30 – 22:00.
Where?  On the Lawn, in the marquee, the Shaftesbury Theatre and the Strand Centre in Dawlish.
What?   Turn the Tide will celebrate Dawlish Parish’s wonderful seaside location, coastline and waterways, featuring environmental, local, sustainable and ethical charities, organisations and businesses.  Bringing a sea change to our town
The Commonwealth is on the frontline of climate change and with headlines like, “How the Queen went green” it should come as no surprise that we have chosen an event that will encourage people to think about safeguarding the future of our environment for the next 70 years.
Organised in conjunction with Dawlish Town Council by Dawlish Wildlife Wardens and Dawlish Against Plastic .
It will be a fun, free event for all ages, a celebration of sustainable living, full of interactive, informative and inspirational activities, workshops and speakers. Plus music and entertainment!
The event is non-party political. No charge for non-profit organisations to attend.
