Age range: 6–13 years
In this hour-long session your child will:
- Learn the basics of simple electrical circuits.
- Understand the difference between battery-powered and mains-powered (plug-in) toys.
- Learn about different types of batteries, including disposable and rechargeable batteries.
- Safely investigate how battery-powered toys work.
- Use simple tools to take apart toys and identify components.
- The workshop will focus only on battery-operated toys.
