Leah has a passion for the natural environment and a drive to create positive change in the community. She has always had a love for nature from a young age growing up in rural Devon and is especially passionate about how our connection to nature and the natural environment is essential to our well-being. She believes that reconnecting people with nature and the sources of their food and materials can bring about real change in communities, empowering them to create a sustainable future. She brings a blend of education, experience, and a genuine passion for community and sustainable living to the role.

With knowledge in environmental challenges, climate change, and sustainable development from her BSc (Hons) in Environmental Management and MSc in Sustainable Development, she’s ready to support CAG Devon’s mission of promoting sustainability in communities. Her personal link to the Devon community means she connects with local contexts and her work with CAG Devon resonates with the community she cherishes. Leah is based in Great Torrington, in North Devon and would love for a repair café to start up in her area!

At CAG Devon, our mission has always been to empower community groups to take action towards a more sustainable and resilient future. We focus on vital areas such as waste reduction, composting, sharing, re-use, and repair, working together with passionate individuals to create a positive impact on our environment.

Building on our successes and with new help on board, we are excited to share that we are now taking the CAG Devon network further. We are spreading our wings as we gear up to expand our reach to all the districts in Devon.

With this expansion, we aim to extend our support and resources to even more communities. By doing so, we are confident that we can foster an even stronger network of driven individuals, working together towards a shared vision of a greener future.

Every community has unique challenges and opportunities, and we are committed to supporting them as a member of the network. Our expansion is not just about increasing our geographical presence, but it’s about deepening our connections and impact within each community we work with.

We look forward to forging strong partnerships and making a real difference, one community at a time. Stay tuned for more updates as we share what’s happening in the CAG Devon network! If you want to find out more about what our support network is about, and would like to join us, get in touch with Leah at: Leah.Nudds@resourcefutures.co.uk.
