Sustainable Bishop

Sustainable Bishop is a small community group with big ambitions placing sustainability, the environment and climate change at its core.

Working with the Parish Council we have ongoing tree planting and environmental projects.

We are working towards plastic free community status which brings together different groups.

Addressing textile waste, we have created tote bags and face coverings. We look forward to getting back to repair cafés when possible and have recently formed a ‘hedgehog highways’ group. Oh, and we have a community garden as well!

Future ideas include setting up a library of things, and a community larder.

Below is a snapshot video of what we got up to in 2021!

Everyone is welcome to join us and get involve in whatever way they can.
