Join us online for this gathering where you’ll have the chance to ask all your burning questions about all things waste and rubbish related.

We’re delighted to be joined by Bobby Hughes, Devon County Council’s (DCC) Senior Waste Management Officer, Darren Beer, Operations Manager – Street Scene and Open Spaces, Mid Devon District Council (MDC), and Chris Spooner, MDC Recycling Officer.

It’s an informal event. Bobby will share DCC’s county-wide work around waste, and around behaviour change. Darren and Chris will talk about the waste/recycling/litter services offered in Mid Devon and how they can support and work with community groups, eg. through loaning out litter picking equipment. This will be followed with any questions and a general discussion about all things waste. It’s an opportunity for CAG Devon groups to share what they do, and explore ways where CAG Devon groups and local authorities can work together well to tackle waste.
