Okehampton volunteer groups will be coming together to clear our streets of litter on Saturday, 29th March from 10-12pm. Join Plastic Free Okehampton in collecting litter from the housing estates around Okehampton Community Garden and the East side of town. Simply drop into the garden from 10am, collect your litter picking equipment and head off returning back to the garden with your bags of rubbish. PFO members will then carry out a Million Mile Clean Brand Audit for Surfers Against Sewage. Hot drinks and cakes will be available at the garden afterwards – donations towards these costs would be most welcome. Thank you.
