Friends of the River Axe and Axe Vale Rivers Association would like to extend an invitation to you to our sea trout evening called It’s a Fishy Business! on Tuesday, November 10th, 7pm – 9.15pm in Chardstock Community Hall.
FORA and AVRA are working together to improve 1.5km of the Kit Brook for sea trout. As you may know, the Kit Brook improved from moderate ecological condition according to the EA classification in 2022 to good in 2025 – one of only two East Devon rivers so to do.
It’s a good news story, and by coming to our evening event you’ll hear about the work that is underway, how farmers and landowners are getting involved, what we’re saying to the public about how they can help, and have the opportunity to quiz our panel of experts.
