Bovey and Heathfield Repair Cafe

We are committed to helping to develop a culture of repair, recycle and re-use wherever possible in our local community of Bovey Tracey and Heathfield by providing a welcoming cafe style environment where together, volunteer repairers and community members, can repair personal and portable household items that would otherwise be discarded or replaced. We want to regenerate and spread knowledge and skills that are otherwise in danger of being lost in our modern throw-away society and reduce greenhouse gas emissions through reducing wast and unnecessary demand for new items.

We’re delighted to have support from CAG Devon, including the long loan of a PAT testing kit (see below!).
