Tasks suitable for all abilities\, including monitoring and recording our flora\, fauna and fungi finds in and around this lovely ‘wild for wildlife’ pond and surrounds. We’re also keeping a stretch of the main road in central Uffculme lightly maintained so that wildflowers can thrive and be enjoyed – so if the ‘Ponderers’ are not at the pond\, they’ll have become the ‘Wildflower Warriors’ and can be found along Commercial Road in the stretch between College Green and Highland Terrace junction. Please come and join us for some nature therapy!

We will be at Endecott House on Saturday 11th April\, 10.00am-12.30pm with our usual host of talented experts as well as bike repair and simple jewellery repair. There will also be a drop in leather scraps workshop\, suitable for all\, delivered by the wonderful Bracken & Sole. Payment for this workshop is on a donation on the day basis. \nIf we assess your item and we are unable to fix it at the event\, it maybe possible to book it in for a separate longer appointment\, or we will aim to signpost you to somewhere you can get it fixed! \nTea\, coffee\, cake and biscuits will be available at the event on a donation basis. \nBelow is a list of categories that you are able to book. Please when booking\, book a ticket under the category that is most relevant to your item. If you have multiple items please book one ticket per item. Maximum 3 items per person. Through games\, mapping\, and creative prompts\, we spark conversations\, build action lists around food justice\, and design ideas to support more food-growing across the city. It’s part reading group\, part conversation game\, and part design lab—gently shifting between reflection\, connection\, and co-creation. \nFor this March event\, we will be coming to Exeter and explore “the people who save seeds” through the work of Rowan White\, a seed keeper in the US\, who talks about resilience rooted in biodiversity and what’s encoded within us.
