Clare Groom – CAG Devon Project Officer
Clare brings to the project 25 years’ experience in communications and marketing, having worked for with not-for-profits, small businesses, social enterprises and public sector organisations.
Her previous employers include the Centre of Alternative Technology and The Community Farm near Bristol. As one of the founding members of The Community Farm, Clare helped to bring the community together to transform the farm from a fledgling project into the thriving community enterprise it is today.
In addition to her work for CAG Devon, Clare also works part-time for Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, organising and communicating activities which help members of the public to access, enjoy and look after this precious protected landscape.
Her expertise includes community engagement, events planning, social media, print production, website development, content creation and media relations. Clare’s professional qualifications include a Chartered Institute of Marketing Postgraduate Diploma.
